St. Patty's Weekend- The 1st Time that We Stayed at the M-Club!
Sam, Nathan, and Matt heading out to the St. Patty's Parade |
Friday night Matt and I had a quiet night at home with Nathan. When we woke up the next morning Nathan, Stephen, my nephew Sam, and their buddy Matt were there. Sam drove in at 5:00 AM!! They were heading to the St. Patrick's Day parade here in Jackson. Matt and I did not go to the parade instead we went to Brooksville to stay in the M-Club for the first time. We also had our first meal there with Tiny and Lou. We had burgers from G&G! G&G are also the guys that built our cabin. We had a great time with Tiny and Lou relaxing on the porch. It was so peaceful and the flowers were blooming everywhere. We had Sunday lunch at my parents. It was great seeing my sweet Mama and Daddy. Mama had a wonderful meal prepared and beautiful flowers on the table. Tiny, Lou and Chrissy joined us. It was a special family day. Matt and I are so excited about our cabin. Matt said he wants to go there as often as we can. We cannot believe how blessed we are.

Stephen on the top of Mississippi's Capitol Building!!
Stephen and Stuart climbed with the curator to the top of the rotunda of the MS Capitol then climbed onto the outside of the dome. Stephen said he could almost touch the eagle on the very top. Notice the Sillers Building in the background. The Sillers Building is nineteen stories tall. I am sure he enjoyed this adventure, and I am glad that I did not know he was doing it!!

Stephen's 24th Birthday
Son I can't think of you without feeling PROUD
Spend time with you without feeling HAPPY
or look at you without feeling LOVE
I can't think of a parent more grateful than I am
to celebrate having you in my life!!
I love you!
Daffodils always make me think of Stephen and my Daddy |
Stephen's Birthday Dinner was prepared by Matt. He grilled filets, and made pasta alfredo. I steamed asparagus. It was delicious as always. The birthday cake was a decadent chocolate one with chocolate icing that was served with vanilla Blue Bell ice cream. Nathan and Stephen enjoyed it so much. Mike and Vicky were passing through while moving to Dallas from South Carolina and it was fantastic that they could be here for Stephen's Birthday. It was a special night.
