"Mary Ann - The best thing that can happen to a person is to have someone special to love....
that is why the best thing that ever happened to me is you.
Happy Anniversary. You're my best friend! I love you, Matt"
"Matt - Nothing makes me happier or more sure of my place in the world than being your wife and sharing this wonderful life with you. You bring me more happiness and joy than I could ever hope for. And I want you to know that I will always be grateful from the bottom of my heart,
for you and your love.
Happy Anniversary. I love you! Love, Mary Ann."
My Mother-In-Law, Marianne Murphy whom I affectionately call MIL sent us a card for our day which gives us some loving and wonderful advice. It says,
"How to Celebrate a Beautiful Anniversary
Recall the years
Reaffirm the friendship
Reflect upon the lessons
Renew your commitment
Remember how lucky you are and be happy!!
Congratulations!
I love you both so much, Mom/MIL"
She also sent us another card that says,
"True love is unmistakeable. It looks just like you two.
Happy Anniversary! Love you! Mom/MIL"
I think that all of these sentiments perfectly tell the story of Matt and me on our 7th Anniversary. It was truly a special occasion. We spent our morning with my parents, Stephen, and Nathan. Then we had lunch with our extended family in Brooksville. Later that evening, the two of us had dinner in Starkville at Old Venice where we used to go when we were dating. We had the same drinks, appetizer and pizza that we used to get back then. We had fun remembering when and being thankful for our lives and are looking forward to a wonderful future together. We are so thankful to have one another. It was a fun and special day.
